Irresistible Impulse issue was created for the ARTPORT Art Book Fair on January 2016. The audience was invited to fill a questioner, that was supposed to reveal their attitude towards the concept of "Feminism". After analysing the results of the questioner, and determining how feminist they were, they were given certain art-works to view. The art works are divided by their colour. Black, white and red are the works for very feminist persons, while very pink are the chauvinist ones.

 

The works consists of three narratives of women who attacked their attacker.

Lorena Bobbit - One night in 1993, Lorena Bobbitt cut off her husband's penis while he was asleep. After doing so, she entered her car and drove to the nearest police station. On the way she threw the sex organ out of the car window.
When Mrs. Bobbitt arrived to the police station she was asked where the organ was, and she replied that she didn't remember. After police area scans it was found and reattached to its carrier, John Bobbitt. In court Lorena was found not guilty due to temporary insanity and was hospitalised for two months. The tale of John Bobbitt became another funny story, and Bobbitt himself became a porn star, and later had his penis enlarged through a surgical process. In accordance with the American tradition, Lorena Bobbitt became a media sensation. During the interviews she gave, she claimed that while having Premenstrual Syndrome, she felt an irresistible impulse to get revenge on her husband for his violence. 

 

Jane Doe - A costumer went to a prostitute household with intention of murdering her. A banal narrative, thought in this case, the prostitute manages to shoot him,

and he dies. The police forces that arrived to the scene found in his car accessories for murder. After further investigation, the customer's DNA was connected to other murders of prostitutes.

The prostitute was interviewed on TV whiteout telling her name. This story is accompanied by the signs "q" and leaf, taken from paling-cards. Queen heart symbolises Judith from 

the bible, another narrative of woman-heroine. 

 

Jane Doe II - A video from Youtube (URL available on each work) depicts two robbers on a motorcycle trying to rob a women. This women does not give up and gets back at them.

It was the responsibility of the audience to decide whether the video is genuine or not, and why is it important.
